Congratulations to the Fountain Lake Cobra Marching Band! On October 10, the they competed at the Beaver Dam Invitational and was awarded Superior Ratings in Color Guard, Percussion, Overall Band, and placed 3rd. On October 14, they competed at the Power Band Classic competition at Lake Hamilton (probably the most competitive marching contest in Arkansas aside from State Marching Contest). Fountain Lake was awarded Superior Awards in Percussion and Color Guard, an Excellent Rating for Overall Band, placed 3rd in Division, and was selected as a Finalist Band! Come support the Fountain Lake Marching Band on October 17 at Lakeside for Region Marching Assessment! They perform at 7pm; let's fill the stands with Fountain Lake Supporters! There will be no awards ceremony, so spectators can pop-in for the Fountain Lake performance, or stay for every band!

A selected group of our Fountain Lake Middle School Junior Beta Club attended the Regional Leadership Summit Convention on October 2nd and 3rd. Our Collaboration Connection, Project Proposal, & Lead Outside the Box teams received plaques that qualify them to attend and participate at the National Convention this summer in Savannah, Georgia. We are so proud of all of our Leadership teams and can't wait to see all the amazing accomplishments our entire club will have at the State Convention in January!
