Fountain Lake School District follows state CIPA guidelines for online safety for all students.

With Relay, we can monitor any device that is connected to our network. Filtering policies do not change when students take school issued devices home.

Fountain Lake School District will block websites when requested, & if potential student safety is at risk. CIPA has very strict guidelines that ALL schools must follow. There are times CIPA flaggs a safe website. Once evaluated by the school leadership team the site will be allowed.

CIPA contains a predefined list of thousands of websites that are automatically blocked or allowed.

Relay also identifies harmful keyword searches, online bullying, and scans visited sites. If harmful acts are detected, alerts will be generated to building level administration.
