FOUNTAIN LAKE SCHOOL BOARD
The five (5) Fountain Lake Board of Education members are elected to a position seat numbered 1-5 (to serve the entire District) for three (3) year terms. This means in some years, two of the board positions are up for election and on the third year, only one board position is up for election.
The term of office is from the first regular school board meeting following the May school board election in the year the member is elected and runs through the last school board meeting prior to the May election three (3) years later.
The Fountain Lake School Board meets regularly on the second Monday of the month to hear and review a variety of business.
Meetings are held at 5:00 p.m. in the Central Office Board Room. Special board meetings are sometimes called to hear urgent business.
