The 2024 Pee Wee Girls Basketball camp was a huge success. We had a great turn out and the kids had a lot of fun throughout the camp. I would like to thank all of my players who participated and helped during the camp, Coach Willis, Morgan Wallace and Kerri Carter for making the T-Shirts and all of the parents who allowed us to have the opportunity to coach and get to know your children. The show of support will only help our program to grow. Thank you and Go Cobras!
On Friday, doors for Project Prom will open up at 11:00pm, and students can check in until midnight. Once the doors close, no students will be allowed to enter. Students will need to make contact with a parent if they are going to leave before 6am. An email can be sent to drobertson@flcobras.com to give permission for them to leave before 6am. Thank you all for your support to make this event a great memory for our students! It couldn't happen without your help!
Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer, or Summer EBT, will help close the summer hunger gap when kids are on summer break and not receiving nutritious school meals. Summer EBT provides grocery-buying benefits to low-income families with school-aged children when schools are closed for the summer.
Summer EBT benefits will come in the form of pre-loaded cards that families can use to purchase groceries.
Starting summer 2024, families will receive $120 per eligible child. These benefits work together with other available FNS nutrition assistance programs, such as summer meal sites, SNAP, and WIC, to help ensure kids have consistent access to critical nutrition when school is out.
If your child received free or reduced price meals at Fountain Lake, you should receive your card in July at the address on record with the school. DHS will send the cards. If you did not apply for free or reduced priced meals during the school year, you may still qualify.
