Reminder-middle school picture day is tomorrow, September 14 and elementary school picture day is Thursday, September 15.
Friends,
While Fountain Lake is facing difficult days ahead, several of our students have asked that everyone wear blue tomorrow, Monday, September 12, in support of our friends at Jessieville who are also facing hard times following an automobile involving several Jessieville students. Our thoughts go out to our Jessieville friends, as we continue to remember the Henson family.
Thank you.
It is with great sadness we share the news that one of our beloved teachers, Mrs. Ginger Henson, passed away today surrounded by her family. She loved her students, friends, and family deeply - and she will be greatly missed.
Counselors will be on site Monday to meet with any students or staff as needed. Please join us in prayer for her family, and all those who loved her.
Congratulations to the Fountain Lake Football Homecoming Court. Homecoming ceremonies will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022. Specific times and events will be posted at a later date.
Today's Tennis match with Nashville has been cancelled due to weather, and is rescheduled for September 15 at 4:00
Next Tuesday's match originally scheduled with Jessieville has been replaced with Arkadelphia @ Arkadelphia at 5:30

Good morning! We would love to have you all come out and support our 7th grade and Jr High teams as we take on Harmony Grove tonight. The boys have worked hard to get to this point and I know it would mean a lot to them to see some of their teachers and school staff in attendance. 7th grade starts @ 5:30 followed by Jr. High @ 7:00 pm. Go Cobras! --
Game Day Parking and Gate entry for Football Season: On Thursday nights for 7th Grade and Jr high games handicap parking and gate entry will be at the new South end of the football stadium. There will be a reserved spot right beside the entry point for those needing this parking area. We will only use two gate entrances on Thursday nights for all fans to enter the stadium. The new South entrance and the old stair entrance behind the visitor bleachers will be the entry points. There will be gate workers at both locations. On Friday nights we will use 3 entry points. The New South entrance, the entrance behind the visitor bleachers, and the entrance at the North end of the stadium by the field house. (The parking lot at the North end of the football field located beside the concession stand and field house will be used for additional handicap parking, Coaches parking, and other school staff working the events. We ask that you please be mindful of these entry points and how they will be used. We look forward to great turnouts and show of support for our student athletes this fall. The new students had an opportunity to engage with some of our student leaders. Dr. Murphy, Superintendent, joined in on the fun and helped serve Breakfast while mingling with the students.
The SLT is sponsored by our counselor, Stacy Pryor and 7th Grade ELA teacher, Courtney Tomboli. Fountain Lake Middle School is pleased to welcome 38 new students to our campus, and we look forward to our next event.

Good Morning!
Students who buy lunches may place unwanted and unopened food in this ice chest. If other students are still hungry after they finish their own lunches,
they may choose one item from the share bin. This simple process reduces waste and makes sure everyone is full.

It was reported that a Fountain Lake Middle School student was in possession of a weapon on campus this afternoon. The student was immediately isolated and an Airsoft pistol was confiscated. The student has been removed from campus. Because of the immediacy of the district’s response and containment of the student and an Airsoft pistol, no lock down occurred. While this is an unfortunate situation, we are thankful to the student who reported this incident.
Thanks to all of the families who have already completed this year's free and reduced lunch application. More than 400 of you have completed the form which is an all-time record for us.
