Good afternoon, FL FACES families! Just a quick reminder that we will not have FACES tomorrow (2/13/24) and Thursday (2/15/24) due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. We express our sorrow at the passing of former 10th grade student Jesse Rea-Garibay. Jesse passed away Sunday morning, February 11, 2024. An informal gathering will be held at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2-4PM. Anyone is welcome.
The family has requested that anyone who would like to submit photos for the memorial slideshow please do so to caruthhale@gmail.com by Thursday, February 15. There will be an opportunity for people to say a few words as well.

Students enjoyed this week's Lunch and Learn with Valorie Bohl and Diana Rose Angelo from U.S. Forest Services. Summer job opportunities and careers after high school were discussed.
Fountain Lake Unified Basketball team will be playing in the semi-finals Wednesday February 14 at 10:30 pm at Hot Springs HIgh School. Please get out there and show your support as these guys try to advance in the State tournament. Go Cobras!
Congratulations to FLCHS Junior Isabella Mullinax on having her poem published in Quilted Hearts, a 2023 anthology of selected poets. Isabella submitted one of her poems in a national poetry contest last year and received word that her poem had been selected to be published. Great job, Isabella!

FLCHS hosted the Be Pro Be Proud truck on our campus yesterday and our students enjoyed it. They were able to use several simulators to experience various jobs in different trades. Thank you to Be Pro Be Proud and our Student Ambassadors who helped our sophomores use the simulators! #beprobeproudar
