Fountain Lake School District

On February 14, the Fountain Lake Cobras played the Pottsville Apaches in round 2 of the District Tournament held in Clarksville. The following are stats from the game: 1st Quarter 17-7, 2nd Quarter 39-28, 3rd Quarter 49-44, and a final score of 58-57 for a Fountain Lake win! Leading the scoreboard was Dillon Dettmering with 22 points, Taylor Willis with 14 points, Wyatt Clem with 11 points, and Nick Johnson with 9 points. Wyatt Clem and Dillon Dettmering were named the Fountain Lake Players of the Game. Coach Jacob Dettmering said, “Dillon Dettmering started hot, scoring 18 points in the first half.  Wyatt Clem returned from illness scoring 11 points, including the last 4 points of the game and made two clutch free throws with 4.7 seconds left to give the Cobras a 1-point victory.  This win gives the Fountain Sr. Boys Basketball a berth in the Regional Tournament.” Don’t miss when Fountain Lake faces Morrilton in the District Semifinals on February 15, 2024 at 8 PM in Clarksville.
