Fountain Lake School District

The Fountain Lake Lady Cobras met the Waldron Lady Bulldogs at Bass Gymnasium on January 26, 2024. Fountain Lake led 9-6 after the first quarter and 17-15 at halftime, and outscored Waldron in the second half 29-23 to win the game with a score of 46-38. Leading scorers for Fountain Lake were Emma Riley with 18 points, Allie Overton with 9 points, and Paige Davis with 16 points. Coach Matt Carter said, “I thought the girls played hard throughout the game tonight! We struggled to score, but we finished strong in the 4th quarter with good offensive execution and solid defense. It was a good win on a fun Homecoming evening.” With 18 points, Emma Riley was named the Fountain Lake Player of the Game. They will play Clarksville on January 30.
