Miss Tomboli reports, "Students in my Advanced English class practiced building words with Legos today. They have studied definitions and origins of prefixes, roots, and suffixes all year. Today, they closed their Chromebooks to build and define words screen-free. This has possibly been one of the most engaging activities I have seen them engage in all year, so I thought I would document and share this moment with you all. 
And, of course, the group with the most words defined "won" the competition- which only increased their efforts."
