Third grade teacher, Katelin Young was named the Fountain Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023. Ronda Hughes, Media Specialist was honored as the Middle School Teacher of the Year, and Katelynn Dwyer, Family and Consumer Sciences Instructor was named High School Teacher of the Year. Katelynn was also named Fountain Lake School District Teacher of Year.

The Fountain Lake School District offers condolences and prayers to the family, friends, and students of Mr. Tyler O'Briant. A Special Education teacher with the district for the past two and one-half years, Mr. O'Briant's impact on his students and fellow staff members will long be remembered. We are saddened by Tyler's passing, but thankful for the time that he was with us.

Field Day was a blast! A huge thank you to Ms. Cannady and Coach Blees for organizing this and setting it all up! We appreciate the cafeteria staff, teachers, and parent volunteers for being flexible and helping make it a success! It was a great day to see all the SMILES on our kids' faces and our parents enjoying a day with their children.

Field Day is rescheduled for this Wednesday, May 17th.
The weather currently looks good! PK, K, and 1st grades will be from 8:30 - 11:00.
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades will be from 11:15 - 1:45.
Parents are welcome to attend during their child's time.
Activities will be in Safe A, PE Building, and the Middle School turf.
Please check in at the office. We look forward to a fun day!

Tomorrow (5/12) is the Elementary's Field Day! Don't forget sunblock and a water bottle for your students. Also, Elementary Beta Club will have Field Day Concessions to help raise money to go to the National Beta Convention in Kentucky!

If you are planning to attend the Mother/Son Movie Day tomorrow (May 6th) don't forget to bring chairs and/or a blanket to sit on. We ask that if you bring chairs to also bring a blanket to place under the chairs to help protect the Safe Room floor.

Please join us for our annual Field Day on May 11th! Parents are welcome to attend, but please check in at the office. We are also in need of volunteers, so if you can help we would appreciate it! The attached flier has all the details.
If your child attended our FACES after-school program (even for just one day), please fill out the attached survey. We do this survey each year to get your feedback on the services we offer and use it to improve our after-school programming. The last day to complete this survey is the end of school this Friday, April 28th. This is not the same survey that you may have completed at parent/teacher conferences and is federally required for the grant that funds this program.
