The Fountain Lake Junior High Girls Basketball Team traveled to Baptist Prep for the season opener winning the game 24-19. Kinsley Burks led in scoring with 6 points followed by Ireland Kane with 5 points. Aliyah McKellar, Baylee Hedges and Heather King each scored 4 points and Bailey Bean added 1 point. Coach Matt Carter said, “We got off to a slow start, but finished the game strong. I thought the girls played with good effort throughout the game and our defense was the deciding factor in helping us win. I am proud of the girls; it's nice to get off to a good start for the season.” Do not miss the next game against Cutter Morning Star on November 8, 2022.
