The overall goals of the program are to further develop and strengthen the traits that are characteristics of the gifted and talented student learning – to develop greater insight into broad-based issues and problems through the use ofhigher-levell thinking skills motivation – to strengthen task commitment creativity – to stimulate curiosity and leadership – to strengthen self- confidence

The Arkansas definition of Gifted and Talented students serves as the guide in providing services and opportunities of students identified as gifted and talented in Arkansas.

 The program is designed for our gifted and talented student grades kindergarten through grade twelve. The program is intended to provide a curriculum that is both differentiated and appropriated for the specialized needs of students who are advanced in their thinking and learning processes.
